What is a Journal?

  1. A publication of a collection of individually written articles bound together and published at regular intervals.
  2. The articles that go into an “Academic Journal” are refereed by a group of lecturers who are experts of the subject. This is sometimes called a peer reviewed journal.
  3. Trade journals are often produced with a specific interest group in mind and do not often include references in them.
