Quotation

To use the exact words of another author in your own work. This must have three things:

  • "Quotation Marks" at the beginning and end of the exact copy.
  • A citation, for example (Smith, 1972, p44).
  • A full reference in the References section at the end of your piece of writing, for example Smith R., 1972, Plagiarism is Cheating: Dodgy Publications.
