Format: Name(s) of editor(s), ed(s)., (year), Title, 'Proceedings of' conference' title, place, date. Place of publication: Publisher.

This example needs proper formatting. Et al is not used except for over 6 authors, so all the authors are listed in this case:

Diaper, D., Cockton, G., Gilmore, D. Shackel, B., 1990, Human Computer Interaction, Proceedings of the INTERACT 90 Conference, Cambridge, UK,(27 - 31 August 1990). Amsterdam: North Holland.

Note: If the names of the editors are not given, then use the title of the organisation running the conference.

Format: Name, (year), Title of article. In Name(s) of editor(s), ed(s)., (year), Title, 'Proceedings of' conference title, place, (date). Place of publication: Publisher.

Example:

Maclean, A., Belloti, V. and Young R., (1990), What rationale is there in design? In Diaper, D., Cockton, G., Gilmore, D. & Shackel, B., (1990), Human Computer Interaction, Proceedings of the INTERACT 90 Conference, Cambridge, UK, (27 - 31 August 1990). Amsterdam: North Holland. pp. 207-212.

Note: If the Proceedings are given a reference on their own, then you can abbreviate the reference to:Maclean, A., Belloti, V. and Young, R., (1990), What rationale is there in design? In Diaper D. et al., op cit., pp. 207-212.

Format: Author, (Year), Title, Qualification with the word thesis or dissertation as appropriate after the qualification (eg PhD thesis, MA dissertation), name of the awarding institution, country.

Note: The thesis or dissertation must be accessible in the library of the awarding institution.

Example:

Rajan, Y., (2004), Using Servqual to assess call centre quality, MBA dissertation, University of Derby, UK.
